Am I eligible to purchase this plan?

Yes. If you're traveling to the US on a K visa, you're eligible for this plan. 

Can I buy for one month initially and extend the plan for another month or two?

Certainly. A montly payment option is available. 

This looks like a short-term insurance policy. Are you sure I am eligible to purchase it?

Yes, you are eligible as long as you answer all the questions correctly on the application and it is approved.  You can keep the insurance until you qualify for domestic insurance, such as through your spouse's work or in the healthcare exchange etc.

Is maternity covered?

Maternity is not covered with this plan. 

Are birth control pills covered?

Birth control pills are not covered with the International Major Medical Insurance plan.

Are general check up or pre-existing conditions covered?

General checkups and pre-existing conditions are not covered with this plan. 

Are my non-US citizen children on a K2 visa also eligible to enroll in this plan?

Yes, your K2 dependents are eligible to enroll.

Is a medical exam for the school admission of my kids covered?

Medical exams for school admission are not covered with this plan.

How can I get the above excluded conditions covered?

Unfortunately, you will have to wait until you are able to enroll in domestic major medical insurance, either through your spouse, your employer, or the healthcare exchage.
