Atlas insurance is a popular series of travel medical insurance plans. Atlas insurance primarily falls into two categories:

  • Travel including USA: Atlas America, Atlas Essential America, Atlas Premium America
  • Travel excluding USA: Atlas International, Atlas Essential International, Atlas Premium International

General

After deductible, plan pays 100% to policy maximum.
Within PPO network: After deductible, plan pays 70% up to policy maximum. Outside PPO network: After deductible, plan pays Usual, Reasonable and Customary to policy maximum.
After deductible, plan pays 100% to policy maximum.

Medical - Outpatient

To policy maximum, 60 day supply per prescription.
Inpatient: To policy maximum Outpatient: No coverage
To policy maximum, 60 day supply per prescription.

Medical - Other Treatment And Services

Complications of pregnancy only, during first 26 weeks of pregnancy.
$50 maximum per day
Acute onset only, for persons under 80: Medical up to policy maximum. Medical Evacuation up to $25,000.

Home country for WorldTrips means- If you are a U.S. citizen, your home country is the United States, regardless of the location of your principal residence. If you are not a U.S. citizen, your country is the country where you principally reside and receive regular mail.

Additionally, Atlas Essential America lacks the following benefits:

  • Travel- Emergency reunion, Return of minor children, Trip interruption, Loss of checked luggage
  • Life- Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D)
  • Other- Hospital indemnity, Natural disaster benefit
